Need help with lego webcomic name/famous characters

Hello, I am currently planning a lego comedic webcomic that features 8 famous roommates and their misadventures living together (Making the point that the economy is bad so these characters all lost their respective jobs/lifestyles and now have to room together). I am having trouble coming up with an original enough name that I like, and trying to finalize my thoughts on the 8 characters involved. I wanted a nice mix of gender/personality clashes or types, and media. I was hoping all of you could maybe help me come up with some ideas, thoughts and opinions.

I wanted to represent a vast section of pop culture but I think I am leaning too heavily toward geek and superhero related stuff. And not enough women in there either. I need contrasting personalities or strange quirks. I am also limited to characters I can create with Lego. Thanks for any help and hope to start posting this comic to a flickr near you!
