UCS AT-AT ready for duty....

I first saw @cavegod’s huge UCS AT-AT MOC at an event a few years back and ever since then I’ve been on a mission to build or buy one of my own. Cavegod (Pete) eventually put together a set of LDD files and an inventory of parts about a year ago so I decided to dive in. Anyway, to cut a (very very) long story short I finally completed the beast a few days ago, and awesome it is too !

I know that a number of Brickset Forum members are in the process of building the AT-AT, or are at least contemplating building it; if so then feel free to PM me if you get stuck and/or have questions. It was a tricky build, to be honest, and if you’re struggling with it then there’s every chance I struggled with the same problem at some stage before eventually figuring out how to solve it....

And if anyone’s looking for a copy of the LDD files then drop @cavegod a PM - he doesn't bite (although he will make fun of you if you're as slow a builder as I am....!).
