You may have read over here that I've recently acquired a few bags of LEGO which turned out to contain some very good condition Space minifigs, a pile of bricks, and some instructions, all of which seem to date from circa 1980. Those with a better knowledge of these things than I, suggest that the minifigs are certainly worth a penny or two, given that there's fifteen of them, only two of them have cracked helmets, and they all still have the original gold paint on the space logo.
The manuals are a bit worn, and having attempted to make the sets up, it appears that they've all got a few pieces missing. However, I'd hope that to someone who collects this sort of thing, it would be worth having.
You can see a few pictures here and I'll take a few more pictures of the other printed bricks, all of which seem to be in remarkably good condition, plus a few general pics so you can see what's included in the 'lot'.
I've no idea what an appropriate value is, so what I propose is this: Anyone who'd like this, register your interest in this thread before midnight next Wednesday (29th) and then I'll pick a name at random.
I'll cover the UK postage to anywhere in the UK (don't think I can afford international rates - sorry!), and then when the successful bidder has received and examined his or her loot, I'll leave it up to them to decide how much to donate via the link on the Fairybricks page.
Cheers!
