I am passing on this message from Robert Martin about the above event:
I would like to give you the heads up of an event that will hopefully be of interest to all Lego fans in the North of England.
The Northumbria Brick Show will take place on Saturday 31st May 2014 in Sunderland (full details can be supplied on request) as a fan’s celebration of all things LEGO. I am trying to capture all bases where I can. I am looking for models, traders, participants and general interest from across the region – it certainly sounds like last weekend’s festival blew away expectations, and it would be great if we could do the same with this one.
We will be setting up on the Friday night and the building will be open 7am-7pm on the Saturday, with public general admission (for a small price) 10am-4pm, with car parking and full facilities on site. I have also got the endorsement of the Durham Cathedral project, who will be sending part of their fund-raising model along.
I have 13 weeks now to get this organised, so if you can help out or want more information please let me know. I’m plugging it across a wide range of sources, and if you can help with this it would be much appreciated. I will be getting official publicity organised in the next few weeks, so please contact me if you want anything.
