This thread is to allow you to tell other members about couriers who fail to deliver (pun intended)
Here we go...... (All UK)
Yodel came when I was out with a parcel, which they took back to their depot, which is ages away. The guy next door (who I know) saw and offered to take it in, but Mr Yodel said he wasn't allowed. I called the automated number, and arranged to have it delivered the next week, and stayed at home specially. At 7pm I heard a ring on the door, and 30 seconds later a card being pushed in. I ran out like a complete idiot, not wanting them to take it back again, and this strange guy with a vacant expression said "Oh. I dropped it over the garden fence"!!! Bloody subcontractors!
Yodel again (as I've posted elsewhere) also left a parcel IN MY GREEN BIN ON COLLECTION DAY! Luckily on both occasions the parcel was OK.
myHermesThis was only Monday, in all the rain and sleet and hail, dropped a parcel over the garden fence. The box was completely sodden when I got to it, but luckily the contents was wrapped in bubble wrap...
Royal Mail(not my normal postie (who's great), but a young guy who was evidently covering when my normal postie was away)left 1 parcel under a wheely bin, and wrote on a letter saying he'd done so, and another just on the ground by the door!
DHL left my brand new 10217 Diagon Alley (£132) on the ground outside the door on a dark and rainy Saturday late afternoon/evening. I actually complained about that, and TLG sent me a £10 voucher :o)
I could go on, but you're probably bored already!
