Dino: no polys?

I was just wondering why Lego did not do any Dino polys? The only thing I can come up with is that for such a small set, it wouldn't make financial sense since they'd still have to put a dino in there. I'm sure even the smaller Dino fig has a value of over $5.

Any ideas whether that's the reason or maybe something else?
