Lego 10228 (Haunted House) and Lego 10185 (Green Grocer)

Hello

I'm on the hunt for a sealed haunted house and a used, complete green grocer set :)
If anyone has either of these (doesn't have to be both) and doesn't expect the extortionate eBay prices, I would really appreciate you getting in contact with me!

Would rather purchase from brickiest and support you compared to supporting the giant marketplace!

Collectible Minifigures - Historical chronology

Has anyone managed to list the "historical" collectible mini figures in chronological order? i.e.

Caveman (and woman)
Egyptian King (and Queen)
Aztec Warrior
Spartan Warrior
Roman Centurion (and soldier)
...
...
... etc
Pirate
Cowboys

I'm considering giving it a go, but wondering if anyone has already done it.

Cheers.

What series do you wish Lego had?

What would be the one series that you would love to have in Lego Brick form? It could be anything: a game, tv show, movie, revival of an old series...or maybe one of your own! Whatever the case is, I'm really curious what everyone would love to have in their collection.

What HTF or Rare Parts Are In your Collection Without Owning The Sets They Come From.

Sorry but I don't know if there is a similar thread but as the title above, what hard to find or rare parts do you have in your collection with out owning the actual set the parts come from, for example I have the following:-

But I don't have a #10134 UCS Y-Wing.
I also have 113 of these:-

but don't have either #10182 Cafe Corner or #10196 Grand Carousel, (yes, I know they come in other sets as well).
Again I have 12 of these in Tan:-

but don't have #llca35 or #LLCA52
I also have these for the Avro Brothers Kaneda's Bike:-

So what rarity's do you have in your collection ?????, is someone sat on a stash of Sand Green Macaroni bricks from #3450 per-chance ?.

Does anyone have Batman Battle Pod #5004929?

Hey, so I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting—nay, needing— to get the Battle Pod polybag, but I wondered if anyone out there in the forums has ventured to spend the crazy amounts on eBay to get one of them? Was it worth it? Was yours legit?

Does anyone have any  info on whether these will be offered anywhere else other than Asia? I remember seeing that the Kiss Kiss Tuxedo keychain was only available in Asia until more information was released when the movie came out, so I'm hoping the same is true for the Battle Pod.

Fingers crossed!

Best Way To Order Parts From Bricklink?

So I'm about to start a fairly substantial MOC, and It's going to require a decemt number of parts. (500ish?) This is my first time embarking on such a build, and I've actually never used Bricklink. Is it best to get parts at the cheapest cost from individual sellers? Or are you killed on shipping that way? Or does it end up being cheaper just to find a few stires with most of what you need? Thanks a bunch to any who answer, just some personal experience is valued. Thanks!

[Germany to EU/UK/USA] *** FOR SALE: Super Heroes & DC Universe sets ***

$

Hello!

Due to an acute lack of space down in the man-cave, I've decided to sell my collection of Super Heroes sets.
A few of the sets have been opened, but most are still sealed.

All opened sets listed here were new when acquired and were opened, built and displayed by my good self :-)
I opened the boxes as carefully as possible without using the thumb tabs (see photos).
All opened sets are, of course, 100% complete.

To avoid breaking Brickset, I've only posted photos of the sets which have been opened or have sticker damage.
The boxes of all other sets are either mint or in extremely good condition (photos of these sets on request).

As the sets differ in size and weight, shipping will depend on the set(s) to be sent.

Payment in EUR via PayPal gift option.

Please make offers via PM only.
Thanks for looking :-)

Designer of Creator set 31060 Airshow Aces

Does anyone know which LEGO Designer designed Creator set 31060 Airshow Aces?

Why do you buy particular sets?

There are a great number of attractions to Lego. Some people buy sets for their kids, some for the minifigures and some just because they want the parts. Additionally, some people are selective about which sets they buy because they either can't afford to buy all the ones they want or are trying to hold back on buying Lego.
Personally I buy sets for the particular vehicle or building portrayed in the set. Occasionally I buy a set for a specific minifig but only cheaper sets.

What I'd like to know is; what are the things that factor into your decision to buy each set?

You're probably getting tired of my "for sale" posts by now, but there is a lot that has to go so here I am yet again...

Shipping (US+WW):
Shipping will be charged at cost. You will be invoiced after the item has been shipped so that you're only charged exact cost (S&H). There is combined shipping if you buy multiples.

Pictures:
Additional pictures can be provided upon request.

Pricing:
All prices are below the lowest USA new price on Bricklink.

Condition:
These figures are NEW despite being 15+ years old... they've only bee on display. Capes are stiff and not frayed. No dents, only "factory scratches", no smell, no shoes, no shirt, no problem...

I'm going to be listing these on eBay or Bricklink on Sunday, so if you want them act now.

I am, of course, more than willing to split them up. Let me know what you're interested in and we'll make a deal. If you're having trouble identifying a figure just let me know. Jedi/Sith will come with a lightsaber.

FS (UK) Star wars sets - fundraising

Hello all

Last week a friend of mine died unexpectedly. As part of handling all that a sudden young death entails, I had to sort out their flat and what to do with their possessions. I am trying to sell what we can to raise the money required to cremate and transport him to his home (he comes from a poor family). I found a few Lego SW sets and am hoping that someone would like to buy them to aid me in getting all this sorted. I would prefer local (o central-belt Scotland) to reduce postage expense.

Would anyone want to buy the following sets as a lot? Serious offers only please
#75117 - Kylo Ren figure
#75099 (x2) - Rey's Speeder
#75134 - Galactic empire battle pack

I have traded on here many times before and have good feedback.
Thanks
Robyn

My New Serpentine Display

I made a thread for this back in December, but figured it'd be better to start a whole new thread instead of necroposting.

Last week, I finally got this Augenblick Minifigure display case for my collection of original 2012 LEGO Ninjago Serpentine Minifigures.  LEGO's official display cases work fine for normal Minifigures, but anything larger (I.E., the Serpentine generals) just won't work - plus I didn't have room for Pythor in the official LEGO case.  The studs of the Augenblick case align perfectly for a non-LEGO brand item and these Minifigures look great in the case!  Of course, I added the Great Devourer to top it all off.  Hope you all like it.

The Brickset Builders Guild - share your MOCs here!

Although Brickset is primarily a website concerning collecting, there are plenty of talented builders on the Brickset forum, who often post MOCs on the 'what are you building right now' thread. Therefore, after consulting with Huw, he and the other moderators have kindly allowed me to set up a new thread solely for presenting your MOCs.

So without further ado, I would like to introduce 'The Brickset Builders Guild.'

There are no limitations on what you can post, including models of any theme or size, in real bricks or in LDD. As long as it is all your own creation, just about anything goes!

As well as simply demonstrating your building skills, a weekly contest will also be held. There are a few details I should give about how I envisage these contests running, although there is every chance that this will change with time as we discover what works and what does not. Anyway, this is how (at least) the first contest will work:

The contest each week will run from one Wednesday to the next, starting and ending at 00:00 GMT.
Naturally, if you miss the deadline for one week, your MOC will be entered for the next week.
All of the MOCs posted each week will be eligible for judging.
In each week, the models will be judged by two judges.
Each of these judges will be nominated by the judges of the previous week.
The judging will not be based on size or theme, only skills and building techniques demonstrated will be taken into account.

There is no prize for this weekly contest beyond the acknowledgement and glory of being Brickset's builder of the week! However, there may be larger contests held which will have prizes every so often.

The judges for this week will be posted later.

I look forward to seeing plenty of outstanding MOCs!
