Which Marvel or DC Comics Super Heroes minifigs do you want to see (re)made in the future?

The Marvel sets are seriously lacking the Philip Coulson figure we've all been waiting for. Next to that we really need more X-Men figures: Professor Xavier, Jean Grey, Rogue, Beast, Gambit, Iceman, Mystique, Colossus, Angel, Jubilee, Sabretooth, Pyro, Juggernaut, Blob, Deadpool ... 

For DC, I'm really looking forward to beastboy and starfire this summer, we got cyborg in #76028, so we only need Raven to complete the gang of Teen Titans. Fish Moony from the Gotham series would be cool (they could use the new hair mold that is used for Sabine from Star Wars Rebels)

Eh? I hear you ask....

My son has reached his mid teens, and getting a new phone is much more important than owning a polybag collection. Yes I know - what a fool ;-) He'll regret it later.

I’m posting on here before hitting ebay with them. Do not fret that they have been owned by a small boy - they are all brand new sealed and have been stored in a box away from sunlight as instructed :-o

As this is raising funds for him, I’m not especially looking for trades unless someone has a spare Series 10 Trendsetter - in which case I may trade and settle up with my son after.

This isn’t a fire sale either, so I’m listing at prices we feel are competitive with Ebay/Bricklink EU. However if several items are going to one buyer, an offer may be acceptable as long as it’s not taking the p.

So my local Sainsburys has sold out of the red packs and looks like they will be out of yellow packs before too long as well so I thought now would be a good time to see if anyone has any trades. Obviously to save on postage I would prefer to trade multiple cards at once.

"Lets Play with Lego 1971-72 Magazine"

Hi everyone, I'm very new to Brickset

In a recent clean up I've come across a box (3.2kg) of mixed Lego pieces and an old "Lets Play with Lego 1971-72" magazine. I know I can sell the lot on ebay or Gumtree (I'm in Australia) however if the magazine is wanted by collectors I would rather sell it to them rather than it end up in the bin if someone just brought the lot for the blocks only. The magazine is in OK condition for its age, all pages are there however the 2 middle pages are loose and the cover is split above and below the staples. Is the magazine wanted/worth anything and what would be the best way to sell it.

I would be happy to trade a mediocre ransom of available sets for the privilege of completing my PotC minifigure display case.  I haven't a clue what the figures are worth, but I am sure I can make a swap completely worth your while.

BRICK LIVE 2017 - Fan Zones

Huw kindly posted the news a couple of weeks ago that the Fan Zone submissions were open for this year's BRICK LIVE shows, but I thought I'd add a forum posting here too in case of any queries, questions etc. 

For those unfamiliar with the events they are large-scale events (10-15,000 square metres) which are open to the public for 4 days with 1 day of set-up. They generally have about 6-10,000 visitors a day.

Dates for the shows are:
  • Glasgow: 20-23rd July
  • London: 27th - 30th July
  • Birmingham: 26th - 29th October

As in previous years the following are available to all AFOLs who display their MOCs at the show:
  • Accommodation (Shared) for 4 nights per show, 
  • t-shirts for show days, 
  • lunch for show days, 
  • hi-viz vest (where required by the venue for build & break) and 
  • a thank-you present.
  • Also the opportunity to request Grant Funding to help you attend the show, pay towards travel costs etc.

Closing dates for submissions for the shows are: 
  • Glasgow: 30th April 2017
  • London: 7th May 2017
  • Birmingham: 14th June 2017

ok after seeing a Video on youtube of someone MOC-ing 2 sets of the  31026: Bike Shop & Cafe, in to modular building's
i got the idea to do this with set 31050: Corner Deli
i would like to only end up using 2 set's to do this but have already admitted to myself i may need 3.
i was planing to get 3 of this any how one to build the set, and 2 for the MOC.

anyhow,
it not as easy as it sound's
i have copy all the part in to LDD and am now building in it,
i already scraped 2 layout as not working.

i would like to hear your view on this idea, and any advise, you have for me be nice to.

My son (5 years old) wanted to start his own YouTube Channel. After being hesitant for awhile, I finally caved in. He loves toys, but he LOVES Lego's. He just posted his first video (Go easy) and is also giving away 1 Jakku Quadjumper to a Subscriber. Rules are posted in the summary section of the video. Aloha, fellow Bricksetters.  I have been called upon to do the weekly Bonusball Extravaganza!  

The first fifty nine (59) unique posts get a number for Saturday's UK Lottery Draw.  I'm sure someone can post the winning number on Saturday, as I still haven't been able to figure out which one is the correct one.  (Maybe that's the reason why I can't seem to win it!)

As I have a wide variety of extra sets, polys, figures and Lego-related whatnot in my inventory, the prize will be a bit of a "winner's choice".  The only condition will be that whatever prize the lucky winner chooses - it will be revealed further below in thread.  (And you cannot choose extra box seals.)

Given the recent policy changes with respect to comments on the Forum, I found it monumentally ironic that it is my turn to do the Draw.  @Pitfall69 is my inspiration for goofing around.  I'm certainly not thrilled about the new policy and I hope it will not adversely impact the Brickset Community.

As a swan-song to one of my favorite activities on the Forum, the question for this week is - What is your favorite Lego-related meme?

(And I hope @Huw would consider this particular thread to be complete off-topic, thus not violating the policy.)
